MASSERIA NONNO TORE

Masseria Nonno Tore is a pretty Salento farm very well curated. The farm is divided into two main buildings, in local dialect làmie, formerly used for the shelter of animals and the production of cheeses. Here the owners Carlo and Irene live dealing, with enormous passion, with organic farming and beyond. The farm produces oil, wheat, legumes, seasonal vegetables, preserves, liqueurs: all products that may be purchased on site. Carlo and Irene live in the company of a mare and four donkeys with whom Irene practices, onotherapy and onodidactics. The chef is Carlo who proposes, alongside the typical dishes of the Salento tradition, new recipes of his creativity prepared with products from his own garden or nearby organic farms. The menu varies depending on what the vegetable garden offers and includes a series of appetizers, two tastings of first courses, one main course and a dessert.
